Rather than creating the object itself, the system, which generates text and code, was used as a design and technical guide. Researchers asked the AI what product could solve a major problem, in this case, global food supply issues, leading to robotic crop harvesting and a gripper for collecting ripe tomatoes. Humans were able to retain creative control of the process. However, the peril of a misunderstanding showed that ChatGPT remains vulnerable to language confusion in technical matters. Nvidia’s AI software tricked into leaking data
Arstechnica, 06/09/23. Nvidia’s NeMo Framework, an AI software, has been found by Robust Intelligence to release personally identifiable information and override safety controls with relative ease. The chipmaker’s AI system is designed to be used by companies for chatbots and customer service representatives’ work. The recent tests succeeded in getting the system to violate safety restrictions in hours, including moving into areas it shouldn’t have access to.
